Why is the course hidden?
Below a low speed, GPS course is not reliable, so Steady As hides it and shows Drifting. It comes back once you're making way.

Is the course magnetic?
No. Course over ground is true, from GPS, not from a compass.

Does it work without my iPhone?
Yes. Everything works on the watch on its own, with no network.

Safe use

Steady As is an aid, not a replacement for proper navigation equipment, charts or a lookout. Speed limit alerts use the limit you set. They are not legal advice; always follow local rules and signs.
