Section 238 Application of s 30 during transitional period
Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Regulation 2016
During the transitional period, section 30(1)(a)(i) applies in relation to a safety management system for a ship as if a reference in the section to complying with the requirements mentioned in Marine Order 504 (Certificates of operation and operation requirements — national law) 2018 (Cwlth) were a reference to either of the following—
(a) complying with the requirements mentioned in Marine Order 504 (Certificates of operation and operation requirements — national law) 2018 (Cwlth);
(b) dealing with the matters mentioned in the NSCV, part E.
